You Ready For Some Spring Cleaning?

There's nothing like getting a real deep clean done to your home to make you feel ready to shed those winter blues! Bissell, a brand that has been around for what feels like forever, has released some "greener" tips to getting your home clean this season. Happy Spring Cleaning!

1) Look for cleaning products and tools that are manufactured using recycled components

3) Instead of using paper towels and disposable surface wipes, opt to turn your fraying t-shirts into good old-fashioned rags. Re-using textiles is a great way to reduce your environmental impact, as well as keep a few extra dollars in your pocket.


3) Not sure what type of impact those chemicals under your sink will have on the environment?

Look for sprays and formulas that are biodegradable, without phosphates, dyes, optical brighteners or heavy metals.

4) If you do have a tough stain, read the label on all sprays and formulas, and look for those that carry Eco-friendly certification like the Environmental Protection Agency’s Design for the Environment (DfE) seal
