Flair For The Dramatic

My daughter is going to be quite the dramatic child. She is mostly prissy, she doesn't like to be dirty, she squeals and screams like a girl and she likes girly things. I wonder what her vocation will be as I see her grow. She is very particular(read OCD) about certain things and will get angry at me if I don't put things in a certain place or adjust it just right.

Lately, when she cries over whatever she is crying about at the moment, she will stop mid cry and ask to "look". Basically she will stop herself from crying and ask to see herself in the mirror! ha ha. I laugh every time she does it. A two year old. I also did a video of her "acting" for me. I had her pretend to cry, sleep, etc. She is such a hoot.

I remember when I was very little really dragging out the "owie" cries and driving my parents up the wall. Now, I don't like it when people see me cry but, sometimes there's no way around it. So, maybe there's hope that she won't be nearly as dramatic as I expect her to be. At least not until she turns into a teenager.

That is so funny that she wants to see herself in the mirror when she's upset. Maybe I will be lucky enough to see her do it one day.
